KIJANI RESILIENCE

Kijani Resilience is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering climate resilience and landscape restoration through inclusive, evidence-based approaches. Guided by core values of multi-stakeholder collaboration, data-driven strategies, and the promotion of climate finance, we develop and implement programs that empower communities to restore sustainable, multifunctional landscapes while generating income. We believe in the transformative power of community-driven action to address climate challenges and build resilient, thriving ecosystems.

Kijani Resilience was founded in March 2020 by hosting and starting the Global Landscapes Forum program known as GLFx Nairobi Chapter focusing on youth and women restoration in Kenya. We have grown and expanded into other programs such as youth & women restoration action groups – Regreening Africa (est.2021), faith based restoration (est. 2022) and Circularity (est. 2022).

We have received grant funding up to $25,000. We have impacted over 2000 individuals and grown over 1200 trees.
