GLFx Nairobi
GLFx Nairobi is a chapter of the Global Landscapes Forum GLFx program committed to advancing landscape restoration in Kenya. The initiative focuses on creating sustainable, multifunctional landscapes through community-driven action. Its mission is to cultivate an intergenerational network that fosters knowledge sharing, collaboration, and active participation in restoring and preserving Kenya’s natural ecosystems.
Circularity
In partnership with 11 youth groups affiliated with the Kariobangi Waste Management Alliance consortium and the Rock Paper Waste Management Group, we organised a waste management benchmarking initiative. Our goal was to enhance the skills of youth-led waste management groups, enabling them to harness the economic potential in waste.
Sustainable Fashion
We work with local artisans, designers, and communities to promote environmentally conscious fashion practices while preserving traditional craftsmanship, and creating economic empowerment. Through workshops, training, and collaborations, we empower local talent to produce eco-friendly garments, reduce fashion waste, upcycling, and circular fashion.
