GLFx Nairobi was invited by Ecotourism Kenya to train several of its members on climate change and youth participation in its mitigation and adaptation. This is a topic discussed as part of the climate change and landscape restoration module in the GLFx Nairobi Landscape Restoration Curriculum. The event took place on May 2, 2023, at the Ecotourism Kenya offices in Nairobi.
A total of 20 members were trained who were students and recent graduates studying Tourism, Sustainability and Environmental Studies across several universities in Kenya. These universities include Kenyatta university, the University of Nairobi, Egerton University, and Maasai Mara University.
